Genuine Pewter was the tableware of Colonial America. Chinaware then took its place as the adverse properties of lead were recognized.
Today, pewter is completely food safe and is available in traditional shapes and satin finishes.
However, only Patriot Pewter today employs Genuine Pewter to simulate the look of sterling silver, such as hand hammering and high polish shine. All this is achieved without the constant tarnishing and polishing required of silver or silverplate. Patriot Pewter is low maintenance.

Care And Use:
- Hand wash in warm, soapy water, quickly rinse and dry with a soft cloth.
- Do not place any pewter in a dishwasher.
- Careful use will add to the patina of the metal.
